II  Francis Watts, the father of Hugh Wattes.  Francis, by his first wife,
Magdaline, daughter and heiress of Thomas Berkley of the city of Worcester.
She had a son, John Wattes.

   Thomas Watts Esq., age 24 in the 27th year of Henry VIII 1535 A. D.
second year of Elizabeth reign 1560 A. D.  Upon the final suppression
of the religious house in England, this Thomas Watts had a grant of lands
and lordship of Blakley in County Northampton together with the rectory
and advowson of the vicarage of all which had been part of and parsel of
the order of the Knights Hospetollers of St. John of Jerusalem of which
possession he levied a fine on the nineth year of the reign of Elizabeth
1567 A. D.

   Thomas Watts Esq. was twice married.  His first wife's maiden name
(Alice) Crouch; second wife, Catherine Solyard.  He had one son William
Watts, by his first wife.  Thomas died in 1593.  Age 82 yrs.

   William Watts, son of Thomas Watts (Esquire) and Alice Crouch.
Williams wife's name not given.  They had two sons, Edward Watts and
Montague Watts.  Lived in Somerset County England.

I	Thomas Watts	  came to America on ship Treasurer	1615 A. D.
II	Jeremiah Watts	  came to America on ship of Love	1635 A. D.
III	Josiah Watts	  came to America on ship Merchant Hope	1635 A. D.
IV	Richard Watts	  came to America on ship Primrose	1635 A. D.
V	William Watts	  came to America on ship Expedition	1636 A. D.
VI	George Watts	  came to America on ship Paul of London
VII	John Watts	  came to America on ship Primrose	1639 A. D.
VIII	Edward Watts, Jr. came to America on ship Expedition	1640 A. D.

 Thomas Watts, son of William Watts.  The first Watts to come to
America in 1615.  Alice Crouch and Thomas Watts Esquire were the
10th Great Grandparents of Frances Kinneman of 543 Park View Ave.
West Field, New Jersey, and the same relation of the writer.
